Reliable advice and quick response to emails when information needed about purchase choice.
When purchasing bikes online, the worry is after sales care that might be easier to access from a local bike shop as opposed to online.
Wheelbase addressed a post-sales issue within minutes of receiving our email and we received the part the next day. Incredible service, competitively priced bikes and excellent online communication.

The staff at Wheelbase in Staveley are friendly and approachable, and are always helpful. I’ve bought several bikes from Wheelbase, including mountain bikes, road bikes, and bikes for the family, and have always given advice before buying. I’ve always been satisfied when my bikes have been in the workshop. I’ve also used the bike fitting service in 2017, and have been happy with my position on the road bike since. I’m thinking of buying another road bike in the near future from Wheelbase, and would use the bike fitting service again.

World class these guys, I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else to buy a bike. All the staff go above and beyond in my eyes..
All the staff are cycling enthusiasts, and they give open and honest advise. Really glad I have such a great bike shop round not too far away.
I've had some issues with the bike I bought, to be expected, its a mechanical thing, and it gets well used... but they are always resolved with minimal fuss and happy to help. With them being so interested in bikes they understand the importance of a swift turn around too. A++ 5* what ever you want to call it.

Fantastic service Adam and his team are really helpful and know there stuff.
I was looking to workout what size bike I should be riding. It turns out the on I have had for 10 years is far too big for me. Adam spent a good amount of time working out what was right. He did not want to sell me the bike I liked as it was not right for me and spent a lot of time showing the options I should be looking at. He got two bikes into the shop and built up for me to look at. He then spent time setting it up correctly for me and also altering my cleats for the correct stroke. In short Fantastic service and will not just sell you a bike will sell you the correct bike. Thanks again Adam I will be back for more kit.
