Thought the bike service was brilliant - good advice, prompt, and reliable. Called back as promised - faultless. This has been the case for every service for my three bikes over the last few years. However...this time, I just wanted to drop my bike off at the door, was reluctant to enter (virus concerns), and asked the team if they would carry the bike upto the service dept as a favour. I was told basically to sling my hook, quite abruptly really, and therefore had to carry the bike upstairs. When I picked up the bike, once repaired, the same person ( who had told me to take the bike upstairs) made me wait 10mins upstairs whilst he sorted another customer’s bike out. I don’t want to mention his name - maybe a bad day - but experience left a really sour feeling. I have been a loyal customer, and spent a lot of money in the shop, and this is the first time I have had a negative experience.
