Update – 6pm Friday 18/1/2019:
🌨SNOW HAS ARRIVED IN ILKLEY and the Yorkshire Dales. We have just come off a course recce and at the moment WE’RE ALL ON FOR TOMORROW’S Wheelbase/ Le Col/ Spatzwear Winter Ride, however we may do a slight re-route after another course check first thing.
If it gets worst and we do cancel our Facebook page will be the first place, we post this news but as we stand at the moment WE’RE ALL ON – it’s ideal weather for LeCol outerwear and of course prefect conditions for the revolutionary Spatzwear overshoes.
You can sign up on the day, the cost is £5 which include coffee/tea and cake at Town End Farm Shop & Tearoom. All proceeds to The Dave Rayner Fund
Please note our Yorkshire Café ride is ridden at your own risk and you need to ride with caution, and with the wintery conditions in mind. Thanks.
The ride will head North East out of Ilkley and into the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park. After the ride we’ll host a Q & A with Le Col and Tom Barras from Spatzwear. Plus there’ll be some great offers in-store for those who come along on the ride.
There’ll be a cafe stop around half way at Town End Tea Room in Airton, with coffees and cakes to fuel the riders. The owner is Chris Wildman and the fantastic cafe was featured on Top of the Shop with Tom Kerridge on BBC2 last year, where the celebrity chef visited the site as part of a programme showcasing the finest Artisan food producers in the UK.
We’re sure it’ll be a mega day out. Check out the route below or get in touch for more information on the ride.
The course will be signed throughout and rides will depart in 3 waves – Fast / Steady / Steadier!
The Spatz and Le Col presenation and Q & A session will be at 2.30pm in our Ilkley store.
