The revised fork design allows for suspension fork upgrades without affecting geometry, while generous tyre clearance (up to 700x47c) and multiple mounting points open up endless adventure possibilities. The Merida Silex 7000 2026 features powerful GRX hydraulic disc brakes with large 180mm rotors, mounted on CNC-machined aluminium Disc Cooler fins for up to 35% reduced operating temperatures – perfect for loaded descents. The Shimano WH-RX180 wheelset with wide 25mm inner rims is paired with Maxxis Rambler 700x45C tyres for a fast-rolling yet grippy ride across all surfaces. Every detail, from the inboard disc mounts to the threaded bottom bracket and 142x12mm axle standard, has been engineered for durability, ease of maintenance and uncompromised performance.
