Each year, Wheelbase proudly supports and hosts a wide range of cycling events that celebrate our passion for two wheels and the vibrant community around them.
From road to mountain biking, gravel to family-friendly challenges, we champion cycling across all disciplines. Our calendar includes iconic events such as The Fred Whitton Challenge, The Jenn Ride, Hamsterely and Staveley Demo Days, The Staveley 3 Valley Challenge, Tour De Staveley and Lanequest—each offering something unique for riders of all abilities. Whether we’re helping riders push their limits, discover new gear, or simply enjoy the ride, our commitment to cycling events is at the heart of what we do.

Event Entry
South Lakes Bike Fest & Staveley 3VC
13th - 15th June

The South Lakes Bike Fest is an annual mountain biking event held in the picturesque Kentmere Valley of the Lake District. In 2025, the festival is scheduled for the weekend of June 13th to 15th. Participants can look forward to exploring great trails, testing demo bikes and enjoying live music in a beautiful setting.
The event will take place at Eddies Field in Staveley. The site opens at 1pm on Friday and evening activities commence at 6pm on Friday, June 13th, 2025.
Tickets are priced at £20 if choosing to camp for the weekend and are available for purchase online. Given the popularity of the festival, it’s advisable to secure tickets early.
