Does the KICKR CORE 2 come with a cassette?

The standard KICKR CORE 2 does not include a cassette. You’ll need to fit your own 8–12‑speed cassette depending on your drivetrain.

Is the KICKR CORE 2 compatible with Zwift?

Yes — the KICKR CORE 2 is fully compatible with Zwift, including Bluetooth FTMS and ANT+ FE‑C control. It also works with Wahoo X, TrainerRoad, Rouvy, FulGaz and more.

How quiet is the KICKR CORE 2?

It’s extremely quiet — the only noise you’ll hear is your bike’s drivetrain.

Does the KICKR CORE 2 simulate gradients?

Yes — it simulates gradients up to 16%, giving a realistic climbing feel in virtual worlds.

What is the Zwift Cog and what does Zwift Click do?

The Zwift Cog is a universal rear‑hub interface that replaces a traditional cassette. It works with almost any derailleur and chain, making trainer setup easier and reducing wear.
The Zwift Click is a handlebar‑mounted wireless shifter that lets you change virtual gears in Zwift without using your bike’s mechanical shifters.

Do I still need to shift my bike with the Zwift Cog installed?

No — the Zwift Cog & Click system means all shifting happens virtually inside Zwift. Your bike stays in one physical gear.

Is the Zwift Cog compatible with all bikes?

It works with most 8–12‑speed drivetrains. Because it uses a single cog, it avoids many compatibility issues found with traditional cassettes.

Can I still use the KICKR CORE 2 with other apps if I have the Zwift Cog installed?

Yes — the trainer still works with Wahoo X, TrainerRoad, Rouvy and others. However, virtual shifting is currently Zwift‑only.

Can I swap back to a normal cassette later if I buy Wahoo Kickr with Zwift Cog?

Absolutely. The Zwift Cog can be removed and replaced with a standard cassette at any time.
