Online Bike Orders
Upon placing your order, our mail order team will be in contact with you to confirm a delivery date.
All mail order bikes are professionally set up and checked by our CyTech qualified mechanics – all bikes ship with the front wheel removed for increased transit security and are delivered by DX who are our chosen courier partner for bikes. Parts and Accessories (including clothing) are shipped via royal mail. Trek Race Bikes with integrated handlebars are only available to order with our Premium Delivery Service or via Collect in Store.

- You can select a specific date for your new bike to be delivered. If you choose this option, our mail order team will be in contact with you to confirm the date you have selected is achievable.

In our efforts to support the environment and protect our trails for future generations, we have decided to recycle bike boxes where we see it fit and safe to do so. Do not be alarmed if your bike turns up in a Cube or Cannondale box, when you didn’t order a Cube or Cannondale bike. They are great quality boxes with plenty of life in them, we only select boxes that are capable of one more journey to your door.
If your bike arrives damaged, you must notify the courier within 48hours of receiving it. No claim will be honoured if the courier has not bee notified. Please retain all packaging and if possible, take photos as soon as possible of the damage to the box.

All our mail order bikes are professionally assembled, set up, and packed by our team of CyTech-qualified mechanics. For increased bike security during transit, bikes are shipped with the front wheel removed and delivered to your door by DX.

What do I need to do?
Upon delivery, the brakes, gears, and headset will already be set up. All you need to do is insert the front wheel, attach the seat post (unless it’s a dropper post, which will be fitted), level the handlebars using the stem faceplate, and carefully fit the pedals.

Collect In Store Bikes
Once your order has been received our team will contact you to arrange a collection date.
- All bikes are professionally set up and checked by our CyTech qualified mechanics before you can collect them.
- A member of the Wheelbase team will talk you through all you need to know about your new bike.
- Any questions you have about your new bike will be answered and time is always set aside to ensure a thorough and complete handover. We hope this means you leave excited, confident and ready to ride.
Parts, Accessories & Clothing
Parts, Accessories & Clothing are shipping on a Royal Mail Tracked 24 service as standard.
Next day deliveries are prioritised to be collected by Royal Mail on the same day as the order is received.
Our current turnaround on parts, accessories and clothing orders is 2-3 days*
- Cut off for next day delivery is 12:00pm. These orders will be packed and processed for collection by Royal Mail on the same day.
- Orders placed after 12:00pm will be processed for collection by Royal Mail the following day.
- Orders placed on Friday will be collected by Royal Mail on Monday.

Premium Bike Delivery
Cycling Logistics, Our Partner For A Premium Bike Delivery Service!
Wheelbase now offers a Premium Bike Delivery option at checkout, where a qualified mechanic will provide a handover on your doorstep.
Benefits of our Premium Delivery service delivered by Cycling Logistics;
- Delivered “ready to ride”, setup to your measurements, with seatpost and pedals adjusted on arrival.
- Post-delivery handover conducted with a qualified bike mechanic.
- Choice of delivery dates to suit you.
Once you have placed your order a member of our Customer Services team will contact you with the available dates for delivery.
There will be a workshop lead time for the pre-delivery inspection of the bike and it could take up to 10 days for the delivery to take place. It is often much sooner than 10 days and is based on Cycling Logistics capacity at the time of order.
This service costs £125.00 and is considered A White Glove Service. Your bike will be delivered to your door and set up ready for you to ride straight away.

Additional information to note:
- During bank holidays delivery times may be extended.
- From time to time it is inevitable that we see an increased demand for online sales but rest assured our team are processing orders as quickly and efficiently as possible, please be patient as we respond to enquiries.
- If your parcel hasn’t arrived by the expected date, contact our mail order team, who are always happy to help. All claims for missing items or orders must be made within 14 days of the date of your order. In some instances, we may require you to complete a Lost Parcel Form, which can be sent to the relevant authorities if requested. This will be sent to you via email.
- If your bike arrives damaged, you must notify the courier within 48hours of receiving it. No claim will be honoured if the courier has not been notified. Please retain all packaging and if possible, take photos as soon as possible of the damage to the box.
- Delivery to the Scottish Islands and Highlands may take up to an additional 48 hours.
- Delivery schedules shown on product pages and at checkout are accurate for items we have in stock.
- Items that are in stock with our supplier may sometimes, on rare occasions, take longer to deliver than quoted. If there is going to be any delay to your delivery schedule on bikes that are in stock with our suppliers, our Mail Order team will be in touch as soon as we are made aware.
- We promise we’ll do absolutely everything we can to ensure you receive your order within the specified timeframe and will work tirelessly to resolve any issues you may have.
