Learn More About Mountain Bike Shorts

About MTB Shorts

MTB shorts are built for comfort, durability and freedom of movement on technical terrain. They use tough fabrics, riding specific fits and smart ventilation to keep you comfortable on climbs and protected on descents.

Trail Shorts

Trail shorts are the most versatile option. They use durable, stretchy fabrics that move with you and resist abrasion. They work well for everyday riding, trail centres and long days in the hills.

Enduro and Downhill Shorts

Enduro and downhill shorts use heavier fabrics for extra durability. They offer more room for knee pads and have reinforced panels to handle crashes and rough terrain. These shorts are popular with riders who push harder on technical trails.

Lightweight and Summer Shorts

Lightweight shorts use thin, breathable fabrics that dry fast and keep you cool on warm days. They are ideal for summer laps, long climbs and trail centre riding.

Waterproof and Wet Weather Shorts

Waterproof shorts use coated fabrics and taped seams to keep out rain and spray. They are useful for winter riding, muddy trails and wet commutes. Many riders pair them with thermal layers for cold conditions.

Technical Fabrics

Modern MTB shorts use stretch fabrics, laser cut vents and water resistant finishes. These features improve comfort, breathability and durability. Many shorts also include secure pockets for phones, keys and tools.

Fit and Comfort

MTB shorts should fit securely without restricting movement. Adjustable waists help fine tune the fit, while longer legs offer better coverage with knee pads. Women’s specific cuts are available across most ranges for a better fit and feel.
