Wheelbase have teamed up with Cycle Exchange to offer you money off your brand new bike.
How It Works
- Fill in the details below to have your bike valued. The details of the bike you wish to exchange will be sent to Cycle Exchange who will then provide a valuation quote.
- The valuation of your bike will take into account several factors such as the bikes age, condition and the popularity of your bike as well as what the bike can be bought for new at the time of pricing.
- We aim to get back to you within 24hours.
- Once you have a valuation, this can be used to reduce the cost of your brand new bike. You can purchase any bike from any of our 3 stores. You can use your voucher online too! Find a new bike and submit the voucher at checkout.
- Our customer service experts will arrange a delivery date for your new bike. If you have chosen a bike in store, our team members will liaise with our customer service experts on your behalf.
- A trained Cycle Exchange mechanic will drop your new bike at your house and take your old bike away. Your valuation may change if the condition of your old bike is not described accurately.
Bikes accepted as part of our Cycle Exchange Scheme: Road, Gravel and TT Bikes less than 5 years old with an original selling price of more than £1,200. Unfortunately our part exchange partner Cycle Exchange DO NOT offer part-exchange on electric bikes or mountain bikes at the moment. Apologies.

By accepting your Cycle Exchange quote you agree to the following conditions:
- The final price may vary from the quote price if the specification, model, age or condition do not match what was provided.
- Completion of a technical inspection to ensure the bike is in good working order and resellable. A full service and a 5% (of purchase price) allowance for sundries is absorbed by us. However any parts and labour required beyond that will be deductible from the quoted price.
- If the bike is damaged or deemed unsellable, we will not proceed with the sale and you will be charged a return fee.
- Payment can only be made to the seller of the bike as referenced in the initial quote. ID will be required to validate the ownership of the bike and payment will only be made to the verified.
- The quotation and acceptance of it, is not a committed contract to sell until the payment is made.
