With its sophisticated C:62® carbon frame and rigid carbon fork, the Kathmandu Hybrid C:62 SLX 400X has the same rugged appeal as its illustrious forbears, but with a new focus on lower weight. The new Bosch SX motor and Kiox display with 400Wh battery continue the svelte theme, delivering up to 55Nm of smooth torque via Shimano‘s wide-ranging Deore 1×12 gears and rugged Newmen Beskar 30 wheels shod with grippy Schwalbe G-One Overland 50mm tyres and ultralight Schwalbe Aerothan tubes. There is, of course, a full complement of practical accessories so you‘re ready for anything, whether it‘s a trip across town or overland. And, with powerful Shimano Deore hydraulic disc brakes, you can slow and stop safely in allweather conditions. It may be light, but it‘s no lightweight.
