The Electric C Line brings Brompton’s latest rear-wheel-drive e-Motiq system to the brand’s iconic folding platform, creating a compact electric bike that excels on commutes and tight storage spaces. Powered by a custom-built rear hub motor delivering 250 W and 24 Nm of torque, the e-Motiq system uses a smart torque sensor to match the rider’s input, giving a controlled, natural feel on flats and climbs. The 345 Wh battery offers up to 90 km of range and removes with a single click for easy charging at home or at the office. The new Handlebar Control screen provides power-mode changes, Start Assist, and dynamic range estimation at a glance. Over-the-air updates keep the system current, with performance refinements delivered automatically.

Four gears, three power modes, and Brompton’s compact fold make the Electric C Line well-suited to multi-modal travel, small living spaces, and daily commuting. The folded bike stays securely locked together and rolls smoothly thanks to 66 mm roller wheels. Shopper Mode and Suitcase Mode offer easy manoeuvrability indoors, while compatibility with the Roller Frame unlocks the SuperRoll+ setup for even more stable rolling.

Built around a precision-drawn, heat-treated steel main frame with hand-brazed joints, the model retains the classic Brompton ride feel with the added benefit of intelligent electric support. The compact folded dimensions of 585 (L) x 565 (H) x 270 (W) make storage simple on trains, under desks, or at home.
