Lapierre have to be one of our coolest brands here at Wheelbase. At almost 70 years old Lapierre have been around for a long time perfecting their bikes. Driven to produce the lightest but most reliable machines, the French brands bikes are also famed for their exceptional ride quality and handling. These features are especially evident in the Spicy and Zesty platforms. Spicy is one the most popular enduro bikes on the race scene, ideally suited to those who want ride hard on any type of descent. Zesty has had a whole new makeover for 2016 with radical new geometry making for an ultra-efficient trail bike, extremely capable on the climbs as well as tearing up the descents. 2016 has also seen Lapierre extended their women’s range with the ZestyXM 327 W being a particular highlight, bringing trail geometry in a lightweight package to the women’s trail bike scene.
