Double-hex design: the ultimate “get out of jail” feature
Unlike standard fork axles, Burgtec’s double-hex system includes both a traditional 6mm fitting and an additional 8mm Allen key interface. If the 6mm ever rounds, seizes or hasn’t been touched in months, the 8mm backup ensures you can still remove the axle and avoid a missed ride.
Torque-wrench ready with premium finishing hardware
The Allen-key design allows accurate torque settings so you know your wheel is tightened correctly. Burgtec finish the axle with a grade 5 titanium pinch bolt and backing nut – a small detail that elevates both performance and longevity.
