All Road Capability
The CLR45 is built for more than smooth summer roads. The Torayca carbon rim construction offers excellent vibration damping, making the wheels stable and predictable on broken surfaces, winter lanes and light gravel. Fit 25 to 36 mm road tyres for fast road performance, or switch to gravel tyres up to 57 mm for mixed terrain riding. This is a true all road carbon wheelset that adds versatility to any road bike without sacrificing speed.
Hubs
The Iona S hubs are engineered in house from high grade aluminium using a thin wall design that keeps weight low while maintaining strength. The angled flange layout improves torque support under braking and acceleration. Inside, the 36T star ratchet system provides quick, consistent engagement for responsive power delivery. The hubs run on Ere custom cartridge bearings and use 12 mm thru axles with centerlock brake mounts for modern disc brake road bikes.
Spokes
The front wheel uses 20 straight pull Sapim CX Leader aero spokes, with 24 on the rear for added stiffness under load. Sapim Double Square alloy nipples keep the build strong, stable and easy to service. This combination gives the CLR45 a balanced ride feel with reliable long term durability.
Tubeless Ready
The CLR45 comes pre fitted with Ere ProClose tubeless rim tape, making tubeless setup simple. Running tubeless improves comfort, grip and puncture protection, especially on rough roads and long endurance rides.
