The Cube Reaction Hybrid range blends the stability of a hardtail mountain bike with the smooth, powerful support of Bosch’s Performance Line CX motor system. These bikes are built for riders who want to explore further, climb steeper trails and enjoy longer days out without losing the feel of a classic mountain bike. The fully integrated Bosch PowerTube 800 battery keeps the frame clean and balanced, while Agile Ride Geometry gives confident handling on technical terrain.
Built for real off‑road riding
Every Reaction Hybrid uses an Aluminium Superlite frame with Gravity Casting or Agile Ride Geometry for strength, stability and precise steering. The Bosch Performance Line CX motor delivers up to 120 Nm of torque, giving smooth, responsive assistance on steep climbs and rough ground. Wide tyres, strong hydraulic disc brakes and modern suspension forks make the bikes capable on roots, rocks and loose surfaces.
Classic frame, modern power
The Reaction Hybrid is available in three frame styles: Classic, Trapeze and Easy Entry. This guide focuses on the Classic frame, which offers the most traditional mountain bike feel. Riders who prefer a lower top tube or easier mounting and dismounting can choose the Trapeze or Easy Entry versions, linked at the bottom of this guide. The specifications are similar if not exactly the same and in most instances it’s only the frame shape that would change.
