Sunday 30th April and Monday 1st May (Bank Holiday)
Join our friends from Wellbeing Westmorland for a cycling festival rooted in the heart of the community of Kendal. They are presenting an exciting and diverse programme of cycling activities, talks, films and events for the whole family.
The organisers of the Kendal Cycling Festival have put together an exciting programme of events including bike rides, talks, films and family-friendly activities spread over two days on the upcoming Bank Holiday weekend. Taking place on Sunday 30th of April and Monday 1st of May it is hoped that this event will help encourage more uptake of cycling in the South Lakes.
Attractions include a pop-up pump track at Abbot Hall Park where taster sessions and stunt demos are set to attract large crowds. WHEELBASE Lake District will be in attendance on both days with a fleet of e-Bikes available for attendees to test ride; we’ll have our knowledgeable staff on hand to discuss e-Bikes and explain all of the options available.
At the Kendal town centre venue in Market Place there is a two day there will be a series of presentations, films and activities which we’ve listed below. The programme includes presentations from Lee Craigie from the Adventure Syndicate and round-the-world cyclist Jenny Graham who will be introducing her recently published book.
