PINARELLO DEMO DAY, WHEELBASE YORKSHIRE

Saturday the 15^th of July saw our popular Pinarello Demo day take place on some of the most scenic roads in Yorkshire, as Wheelbase Ilkley hosted a busy day of group riding onboard a selection of stunning road bikes from the premium Italian bike brand.

Our Wheelbase store in Ilkley, Yorkshire hosted a great day riding onboard premium Italian Pinarello road bikes.

With attendees pre-booked to ride their preferred choice of Pinarello bike the day was an opportunity for individuals to head out on multiple rides and compare how each model performed on the fast, rolling Yorkshire roads straight out of Ilkley.

Riders on our Pinarello demo day had the opportunity to ride their dream road bike on some of the finest roads of Yorkshire.

Later in the day there was an opportunity to join a social ride with former Team Sky professional Russ Downing who raced on Pinarello bikes for a good amount of his road racing career. With no need to book beforehand this ride took in one of the best local loops and included a pub stop part way round the ride; Russ was on hand to talk through the finer points of the Pinarello bikes being ridden and helped to guide the riders over some fantastic Yorkshire terrain.

Russ Downing joined us on our social ride and was on hand to talk through the finer points of the Pinarello range.
