The Winter Jennride 2026 is a demanding self-supported bikepacking event in the Lake District, designed for experienced riders seeking a cold-weather endurance challenge. Often described as the tougher winter counterpart to the summer Jennride, it combines long distances, significant elevation, and unpredictable winter conditions. Designed for mountain bikes, this route includes more technical off-road terrain and rough surfaces.

  • Suitable for: Hardtail and full-suspension MTB

  • Focus: Bridleways, rocky tracks, steep climbs

The gravel route prioritises rideable tracks and lanes while still maintaining the event’s difficulty.
