With a compact shape inspired by Giro’s premium adult helmets, the Scamp II delivers reliable impact performance through an In-Mold Hardbody shell and EPS foam liner. Thirteen deep vents keep kids cool on warm days, while the Roc Loc Junior fit system provides secure, simple adjustment as they grow. Whether they are riding in a trailer or pedalling on their own, the Scamp II encourages more time on the bike.
Lightweight and Durable Construction
The Scamp II uses Giro’s In-Mold Hardbody construction, fusing a tough polycarbonate outer shell to an EPS foam liner. This reduces weight while improving durability and ventilation efficiency. The two-piece shell combines a tough outer hard shell with a polycarbonate lower shell permanently fused to the liner.
Roc Loc Junior Fit System
The Roc Loc Junior system is shaped specifically for children’s head curvature, developed using years of anatomical research. A large rubberised dial makes it easy for adults to adjust tension securely, giving kids a stable and comfortable fit for several years of use. Roc Loc Jr is a simple, durable dial-fit system shaped to match the curvature of a child’s head.
Cooling and Comfort
