Santa Cruz Skitch Apex Electric Gravel Bike
The Santa Cruz Skitch Apex is a lightweight carbon electric gravel bike built to make fast commutes, mixed-surface rides and everyday adventures more enjoyable. A Santa Cruz Carbon CC frame and carbon fork are paired with the compact Fazua Ride 60 drive system, creating an e-bike that combines responsive handling with smooth electric assistance.
A SRAM Apex Eagle 12 speed drivetrain provides wide-range gearing, while 700c WTB wheels and Schwalbe G-One Overland 45c tyres give the Skitch versatility across tarmac, gravel and rougher back roads. With a 430 Wh integrated battery and a published weight of approximately 13.87 kg, the Skitch keeps weight and bulk low for a more natural riding experience.

Carbon CC Frame and Fork
The Skitch is built around Santa Cruz’s Carbon CC gravel frame and a matching carbon fork. Progressive geometry gives the bike a versatile platform for everything from urban riding and commuting to longer gravel routes and mixed-surface adventures.
The lightweight carbon construction helps the Skitch retain the responsive character of a conventional gravel bike while incorporating the Fazua electric drive system and integrated battery.
Fazua Ride 60 Drive System
A Fazua Ride 60 drive unit provides electric assistance while maintaining the Skitch’s lightweight and streamlined design. The system is designed to provide an extra push when accelerating through town, tackling climbs or covering longer distances without overwhelming the natural feel of the bike.
430 Wh Integrated Battery
The Fazua Ride 60 motor is powered by a 430 Wh battery integrated into the frame. Its internal placement contributes to the Skitch’s clean appearance while providing the capacity for assisted commuting, gravel riding and longer mixed-surface journeys.
SRAM Apex Eagle Drivetrain
A SRAM Apex Eagle 12 speed drivetrain gives the Skitch a wide gearing range for changing gradients and surfaces. The SRAM XG-1275 Eagle 10-50T cassette provides low gearing for steeper climbs while retaining the range needed for faster riding on open roads and gravel tracks.
SRAM Apex controls are paired with an Apex Eagle rear derailleur and SRAM SX Eagle 12 speed chain, while Praxis eTor aluminium cranks complete the drivetrain.
Brakes
SRAM Apex hydraulic disc brakes provide controlled braking for road, gravel and all-weather riding. SRAM Centerline 160 mm Centerlock rotors are fitted front and rear for consistent braking performance across varied conditions.
Wheels and Tyres
WTB ASYM i25 700c rims are paired with WTB Frequency Sport hubs to create a versatile wheelset for everyday riding and gravel exploration. Schwalbe G-One Overland Pro EVO 700 x 45c tyres provide a high-volume setup suited to combining paved roads with gravel tracks and mixed surfaces.
Cockpit and Contact Points
A Zipp Service Course 70 XPLR aluminium handlebar provides a gravel-focused drop-bar cockpit, with size-specific widths of 42 cm on Small, 44 cm on Medium and 46 cm on Large through XXL. A 70 mm Zipp Service Course stem is used across all sizes.
The build is completed with Velo bar tape, a WTB Silverado Medium Chromoly saddle and a 27.2 mm Zipp Service Course seatpost.
