Our E-180 S is our most affordable, unstoppable, maximum control gravity e-bike for self-shuttled gravity riding, bike park play, and big mountain terrain. Bosch’s large internal 750Wh battery delivers hour after hour, run after run range on the biggest tracks and bike park lines, shrinks the biggest mountains and opens up epic back-country. To give you the best performance possible for when you’re pushing hard on the biggest terrain but without breaking the bank, we’ve equipped the E-180 S with ‘sorted right from the box’ parts selection headlined by RockShox’s capable ZEB fork and Whyte custom-tuned Super Deluxe Select R rear shock; wireless electronic shifting across the 1×12 tranmission from SRAM’s GX Eagle AXS; reliable and controllable braking power on even the longest, roughest descents with SRAM Code R four-piston hydraulic disc brakes (220mm front rotor; 200mm rear), and much more.

Engineered so you can commit

The E-180 S’s frameset maximises the advantage of our unique tilted motor and super low-slung battery arrangement, which brings the bike’s centre of gravity as low as possible, to deliver you ultra-stable, dynamically centred and confident handling at any speed and on any terrain while short 155mm cranks deliver maximum pedal control and ground clearance. Our innovative in-tube battery frame design is also far stronger and stiffer than open tube frames, surviving near-metric ton slam loads in testing so you can feel totally safe full sending on the hill.

Switchable geometry

Our confidence-inspiring Total Geometry system coupled with the MX wheel set-up ensures the E-180 S ‘plays and slays’ on the tightest, steepest tracks but still has your back when you’re flat out through boulder fields with handling that’s agile and alive for maximum fun. Our Shape.It link ‘flip-chip’ also allows you to change the geometry of the bike: switch it from the stock high to the low position to slacken the bike out by 0.6 degrees and lower the bottom bracket (BB) by 8mm for the most gravity-focused handling, or keep it in the high position for better all-mountain pedalling and handling. And all without affecting the suspension kinematics.

With the Bosch Smart System – which links up the E-180 S’s bar-mounted LED Remote, battery and motor via the companion ‘eBike Flow’ app – you can have even more information at your fingertips to manage, tailor and personalise your bike just how you want: tune the motor support levels; keep track of your bike’s performance and battery consumption; keep your software up to date.
