The Fuel EX 8 GX AXS Gen 6 pairs a stiff, lightweight alloy frame with a wireless 12 speed SRAM GX Eagle AXS transmission, plus 150 mm front and 140 mm rear suspension for a balanced, controlled ride on technical terrain. With in frame storage, adjustable geometry, and size specific wheel options, it delivers the versatility and performance expected from Treks latest generation trail platform.

Frame and Suspension

The alloy Fuel EX Gen 6 frame delivers stiffness and durability with the same in frame storage found on the carbon models. A 150 mm FOX Rhythm fork with Float EVOL air spring and GRIP damper provides small bump sensitivity and support, while the FOX Performance Float X rear shock offers consistent control on steep, technical trails.

Drivetrain and Shifting

SRAMs latest GX Eagle AXS wireless transmission provides crisp, reliable shifting under load. The 12 speed range gives riders the gearing needed for long climbs, fast transitions, and all day trail riding.

Geometry and Adjustability

The Fuel EX Gen 6 features slack, confidence inspiring geometry that can be tuned to suit different trails. With the Mino Link and optional angle set cups, riders can choose from six distinct geometry settings to fine tune head angle, bottom bracket height, and overall handling.

Wheels and Tyres

Tubeless ready Bontrager wheels improve grip and reduce the risk of punctures. Trek uses size specific wheel sizing to ensure the best fit and handling. These bikes run 29″ Wheels front and back.
