The Kids Ride Shotgun Pro II Child Bike Seat + Handlebars Combo gives young mountain bikers an up-front riding position while keeping the mounting system completely clear of the bike’s frame. Designed for modern mountain bikes and electric mountain bikes, the Pro II seat mounts between the headset and seatpost and can be fitted or removed in around 15 seconds after the initial installation.
This combo also includes the Shotgun Pro handlebars, giving your child their own 19 mm grips to hold while riding. The redesigned Pro II seat features a lower saddle height, a grippier scooped saddle and seven leg-length positions, with compatibility for the Shotgun Pro EVO system as your family’s riding setup develops.

Zero Frame Contact
The Shotgun Pro II mounts to the bike’s headset and seatpost rather than clamping onto the frame. This creates a secure mounting system with zero frame contact and makes it suitable for both regular mountain bikes and electric mountain bikes with wide down tubes.
It fits most modern mountain bikes using a standard 1 1/8 inch steerer with at least 10 mm of clearance beneath the stem. Separate adapters are available for bikes using internal cable routing, Trek Knock Block or Scott Syncros headset systems.
Adjustable as Your Child Grows
The redesigned seat uses a lower saddle height and a new scooped saddle with increased grip. Saddle position and angle can be adjusted, while seven leg-length settings allow the fit to be changed as your child grows. The seat is suitable for children weighing 12-27 kg, with a recommended age range of 2-5 years.
Shotgun Pro Handlebars Included
The included Shotgun Pro handlebars give your child a dedicated place to hold while riding up front. They feature quick-release fitting and custom 19 mm grips designed for smaller hands. The handlebars fit 31.8 mm and 35 mm handlebar diameters and stems up to 60 mm wide.
Fast Fitting Across Two Bikes
Once initially installed, the Pro II seat can be attached or removed in around 15 seconds. Two headset spacers are supplied, allowing the mounting setup to be installed on two separate compatible bikes, with additional spacers available separately.
Compatibility
The Shotgun Pro II is designed primarily for mountain bikes with front suspension. It is not recommended for bikes without front suspension, including road bikes and beach cruisers, due to the reduced clearance between the child’s feet and the front wheel.
