Frame and Suspension
The Series 4 alloy frame is engineered for the toughest tracks in the world. Adjustable geometry and chainstay length let riders run mullet or full 29 and tune the bike for different terrain. MultiTrac LT delivers 180 mm of rear travel with big hit control and small bump sensitivity. The RockShox Vivid Coil Ultimate DH shock is custom tuned for the Quake, with specific spring rates for S, M and L sizes.
Fork
A RockShox Boxxer fork with 200 mm travel provides stiffness, control and support for steep, rough and high-speed terrain. The 29 inch chassis and 110×20 mm Maxle Stealth axle add stability and precision.
Drivetrain
SRAM GX DH 7 speed shifting delivers reliable performance for gravity riding. A Descendant alloy crankset with 34T chainring and e*thirteen Vario DH chainguide adds security on rough tracks. The GS DH cassette provides tight ratios for downhill speed control.
Brakes
SRAM Maven Silver 4 piston brakes with 200 mm HSC rotors deliver powerful, consistent stopping. The system is designed for steep terrain and heavy loads.
Wheels and Tyres
Marin DH rims with 29 mm inner width and Formula/Marin hubs create a strong wheel setup. The mixed wheel configuration uses a 29 inch front for rollover and a 27.5 inch rear for agility. Schwalbe Magic Mary Gravity Radial tyres provide maximum traction, with Ultra Soft compound up front and Soft compound at the rear.
Cockpit and Contact Points
A PNW Range handlebar, Marin direct mount stem and Marin Grizzly lock-on grips provide stable steering and control. The Marin Short Nose saddle and 34.9 mm alloy seatpost complete the setup.
Who It’s For
The Quake 29 suits riders who want a big bike for freeride, downhill and the most demanding terrain. It is built for bike parks, steep lines, huge jumps and rough tracks, delivering stability, control and confidence at high speed.
