The Marin San Quentin JR 24 brings the attitude of the full size San Quentin to young riders who want a proper mountain bike feel. Designed with input from Matt Jones, it blends dirt jump DNA with a tough all round trail setup. The Series 2 aluminium frame is strong and confidence inspiring, paired with a new Manitou J Unit 100 mm air fork for 2025 and 2026 that offers real adjustability for lighter riders. A Shimano CUES 9 speed drivetrain, kid specific hydraulic disc brakes and tubeless compatible wheels make the San Quentin JR 24 a capable, progression ready bike for growing shredders.

Strong Aluminium Frame
The Series 2 aluminium frame is built for young riders who want a real mountain bike feel. It uses a low standover height, disc specific design and internal routing. The frame is dropper post compatible and uses a 27.2 mm seatpost. A one piece saddle and post allow a lower ride height for smaller riders.
Manitou J Unit Suspension
The Manitou J Unit Sport fork provides 100 mm of air sprung travel with rebound adjustment. It is designed specifically for young riders, offering lighter spring rates and proper tuning. The 15 x 110 mm axle adds stiffness and control on rough terrain.
CUES Drivetrain And Hydraulic Brakes
The Shimano CUES 9 speed drivetrain delivers smooth shifting with a wide range 11 46T cassette for mixed terrain. The short reach shifter is designed for smaller hands. Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors provide strong and predictable stopping power.
Durable Wheels And Grippy Tyres
Marin double wall rims, forged hubs and 2.4 inch Delium Versatile tyres create a tough and stable wheel setup. The tyres use a light construction for easier rolling and are tubeless compatible for improved grip and puncture protection.
