The Merida Big Seven 20 2026 is a trail-ready 650b hardtail designed for riders who demand performance, versatility, and reliability. Featuring Merida’s sophisticated TFS aluminium frame with over 50 years of expertise in building robust hardtails, this bike balances modern geometry trends with everyday usability, making it ideal for both off-road adventures and casual trail rides.

The frame features a longer reach paired with a shorter stem, a steeper seat angle, and a slacker head angle to enhance off-road capability without compromising control or comfort. Full internal cable routing ensures a clean, organised setup, while tapered headtube construction allows for future upgrades. Inboard disc brake mounts protect braking components and maximise stopping power, and the frame is dropper post ready for added versatility. A new XXS Big Seven size extends the range for shorter riders, while taller riders can opt for the Big Nine; riders in the middle can choose based on speed or agility preferences.

Equipped with a Shimano 1 x 8 drivetrain and Prowheel 32T chainset, the Big Seven 20 offers reliable shifting across a wide gear range. The SR Suntour XCM32 NLO 120mm coil fork with lockout delivers smooth suspension travel and control on rough trails.
