Lightweight R5 Race Platform
The R5 is designed around the demands of mountainous road racing, where low weight, efficient power transfer and predictable descending all matter. A Cervelo all-carbon tapered R5 fork completes the chassis, while the frame provides clearance for tyres up to 34 mm wide.
Cervelo states a complete R5 weight of 5.97 kg for the SRAM RED and Shimano Dura-Ace builds. This figure does not apply to the Ultegra Di2 specification listed here, for which a complete bike weight has not been supplied.
Shimano Ultegra Di2 with Dual-Sided Power Meter
Shimano Ultegra Di2 provides 12-speed electronic shifting, with R8170 controls and R8150 front and rear derailleurs. An Ultegra R8100 52/36T crankset is paired with an 11-34T cassette, while a 4iiii Precision Pro GEN3+ dual-sided power meter provides integrated power measurement for training and racing.
