ALL NEW: Scott Addict 2026 | All Day Comfort Endurance Road

Introducing the 2026 Scott Addict Endurance Road Bike: A New Era of Comfort and Performance

Scott Sports has unveiled the 2026 Scott Addict Endurance Road Bike, a model that redefines long-distance cycling by blending exceptional comfort with high-performance capabilities. Designed for riders who seek adventure without compromising on speed, the new Addict prioritises the riding experience, ensuring that every journey is both enjoyable and efficient.

Unmatched Comfort for All-Day Riding

The 2026 Addict features a reimagined frame geometry that offers 25% more vertical compliance than its race-focused counterpart, the Addict RC, and 50% more than the previous Addict model. This enhancement is achieved through a slimmer seat tube and refined tube profiles, allowing the frame to flex with the terrain and absorb vibrations effectively. The dropped seatstays further contribute to ride smoothness, ensuring comfort over long distances.

Enhanced Tyre Clearance for Versatility

Accommodating up to 38mm tires, the new Addict opens up possibilities for wider, lower-pressure tyres that enhance grip and comfort on rough roads. This increased clearance allows riders to tackle a variety of terrains with confidence, making the Addict a versatile companion for both paved and unpaved routes.

Refined Geometry for an Upright Riding Position

The Addict’s geometry has been adjusted to provide a more relaxed and upright riding position. With a 5mm higher stack and 5mm shorter reach compared to the previous model, riders can enjoy an ergonomic fit that reduces strain during long rides. These subtle changes, along with a shortened chainstay, enhance handling and overall ride quality.

Integrated ‘Save-the-Day’ Kit

Innovatively, Scott has integrated a repair kit into the downtube of the Addict Premium and Addict 10 models. This discreet feature ensures that essential tools are always within reach, eliminating the need to carry them in jersey pockets and maintaining a clean bike profile.

User-Friendly Adjustments with Integrated T25 Tool

Maintenance and adjustments are simplified with the inclusion of a universal T25 key, cleverly integrated into the cockpit or handlebar drop. This allows riders to easily fine-tune components such as the stem, handlebar, seat post, and bottle cages without the need for additional tools, streamlining the setup process.

A Bike That Celebrates the Journey

The 2026 Scott Addict Endurance Road Bike is more than just a machine; it’s a companion for cyclists who value the experience of the ride. Whether embarking on a long-distance adventure or enjoying a leisurely ride, the Addict ensures that comfort, performance, and the spirit of cycling are always at the forefront.

Now Stocking: Colnago Road Bikes

We’re thrilled to announce the arrival of Colnago bikes– a legendary name in cycling, now part of our premium bike lineup. Colnago is synonymous with Italian craftsmanship, cutting-edge design, and a deep-rooted racing heritage. From dominating the pro peloton to pushing technological boundaries, Colnago continues to set the standard for performance road bikes.

HUMBLE ORIGINS ROOTED IN A PASSION FOR CYCLING

Ernesto Colnago’s entrepreneurial story began in a small shop in Cambiago, Italy way back in 1954. At the time, Ernesto was a young worker at the Gloria bike factory in Milan. Due to an accident during cycling training, he was forced to work from home, where he made wheels for his company, assembling rims, hubs and sprockets. Thus began his boyhood dream, starting a business as a bicycle mechanic and later a frame builder. He had little money. To help him, his father cut a mulberry tree from the family garden to build him a workbench.

From Legends Past…

To Legends New…

Fred Whitton Challenge 2025 | UK’s Toughest Sportive

112 miles | 10,400ft elevation | temperatures: blistering

On Sunday, 11th May the Lake District once again played host to the Wheelbase Fred Whitton Challenge, a 112-mile sportive renowned as the UK’s most demanding one-day cycling event. Starting and finishing in Grasmere, 2400 riders took on the challenge, which includes the formidable ascents of Kirkstone, Honister, Newlands, Whinlatter, Hardknott, Wrynose, and Blea Tarn passes.

The riders were treated to fine Cumbrian weather, with blue skies and temperatures pushing towards 20 degrees. Chapeau to all those who made it round the brutal course.

Beyond the physical challenge, the event’s core mission remains fundraising for vital charities. Since its inception in 1999, the Fred Whitton Challenge has raised over £2 million for causes including Macmillan Cancer Support, the Great North Air Ambulance, and local mountain rescue teams. This was the 25th running of the event which remains a bucket list goal for the vast majority of road cyclists.

The event is steeped in tradition and remains a core part of the cycling community here in Cumbria. It honours the legacy of Fred Whitton, a passionate advocate for cycling in Cumbria and member of Lakes Road Club. Respecting Fred’s ideals, it remains what it was always meant to be: a challenge. The support on the roadside was fantastic as always, with spectators lining the roads of the villages that the event passed through.

NEW: Santa Cruz Bullit CC | XO AXS RSV | Long Travel Electric Bike

Santa Cruz Bullit EMTB

We took the Santa Cruz Bullit (MY26) out on the local trails for a first impression, we found out what we needed to know.

Essentially a downhill bike with a motor, we were blown away by the Santa Cruz Bullit 2025! From the first corner we felt right at home. For such a heavy hitting bike, it is super lightweight and handles like a trail bike with a built in ‘get out of jail free’ card. The Fox 38 Float  and Fox Float X2 felt incredible with little to no setup, providing the perfect platform to push on the very first run. The steep seat tube angle makes climbing on rough terrain comfy and stable. The slack angle (63.3 in low) combined with the 27.7 rear wheel makes a playful but planted ride feel which couldn’t be more fun to ride! SRAM Mavens are perfect for this bike, providing the stopping power when things get a bit too tasty and modulation for when conditions are as loose as they were when filming the video (link below).

G Line – Most versatile bike in the world

Brompton G Line to be the best one-bike solution for the city and beyond, and then we made it a Brompton. The frame geometry is comparable to a full size bike, yet it transforms into a compact package that stores and travels easily. So you can go anywhere. Now available from Wheelbase online or in-store starting from £2499.

The Brompton Story

In 1975, inventor Andrew Ritchie created a new type of movement with the bike that folds down small – transforming how people move in and around cities and towns across the globe.
Over the next ten years, Andrew obsessively honed his invention and self-taught bike building skills from a small, rented workshop in a local engineering company – hand-making every customer bike to order.

“Bollo Lane” or the Brentford Factory was housed inside two old railway arches. The team hand-built 60 bikes a month—all-steel, black and fitted with a rack. Customers could choose 3 or 5-speed hub gears. Andrew is pictured (far left) with his team outside Bollo Lane. Mark, 4th from the left (and his son), still works at Brompton today. He no longer wears a shell suit to work.

NEW Cannondale Super X: Welcome to Speed Gravel.

Making the Fastest Faster.

The legendary SuperX is BACK, reborn as a stripped down, souped up, pure gravel race machine—purpose-built for chasing podiums and PRs everywhere from Three Peaks Cyclocross to that Strava segment you’ve been chasing. Its predecessor, the SuperSix EVO SE, set the fastest time ever for Unbound Gravel in 2024, and with the new SuperX, Cannondale have gone all in to make it even faster. Less aero drag. More fatigue-fighting compliance. Sleeker integration, and of course, less weight. Ready for faster?

All In to Go All Out.

Made to absolutely smash gravel races. Simple as that. This is full-gas road race performance engineered for the full thrash world of gravel. Elbows out, head down, get off the front and don’t look back. SuperX only has one destination – the top step.

Fast and Light.

Our KOM-winning road tech meets Unbound-winning engineering. The LAB71 SuperX is super aero and over 100 grams lighter than its predecessor, helping you stay ahead of the pack in this rapidly -evolving era of high- speed, elbow-to-elbow gravel racing. With gravel race speeds averaging well over 35 km/h, the LAB71 SuperX brings a whole lotta free speed over any distance.

Gravel Glider, Not Grinder

SuperX’s sophisticated carbon construction smooth out the rough, floating above the gravel to keep you cranking. Specially constructed flex zones in the seat tube, rear triangle, and top tube work as a system with the D-shaped seatpost to absorb shock and vibration, keeping your mind and body fresher longer.

Rolling Fatties
Courses vary, terrain varies, weather varies. The SuperX fits tires up to 48mm for the frame and 51mm for the fork, with at least 4mm clearance on each side, ready for whatever tire the day demands.

Delta Steerer
The Delta steerer design is great for gravel racing. It allows for clean cable integration from the cockpit into the frame, and a reduced frontal area for increased aero efficiency.
The Cover Up
A slick cover hides SuperX’s top tube bag mount. It’s there when you want it, invisible when you don’t.

D-Lightful
The D-shaped design of SuperX’s seatpost enhances aerodynamics and boosts vertical compliance, reducing muscle fatigue so you stay fresh and fast for the final sprint.

OutFront Geometry

OutFront pairs a slack head angle with a longer-than-normal 55mm fork offset, increasing stability and control on the steep and loose – while maintaining the snappy handling you need for quick line changes and last-second corrections.
SystemBar R-One
Sleek and light, the SystemBar R-One carbon cockpit is a perfect gravel racing command center, giving you an aero advantage, clean integration, and all-day comfort. Available on the LAB71 SuperX and aftermarket.
