In what will go down in cycling industry history as one of the worst-kept secrets we can finally talk about this cutting-edge bike which has been hiding in plain sight since the Spring Classics. Piloted by Wout Van Aert, Primoz Roglic and Jonas Vingegaard from the victorious Jumbo Visma professional cycling team throughout the season, the all-new Cervelo S5 has more than proved itself already in the most demanding road races in the world including this year’s exciting edition of the Tour De France which has just come to a close in Paris.
With a whole new set of rules signed off by the UCI cycling governing body which focused on what’s permissible when it comes to aerodynamics and frame design Cervelo were able to revisit their iconic S5 to further refine a bike which already stood out as an incredibly unique-looking road machine created specifically to cut through the air more efficiently than its competitors.
