This Olympic Silver Medallist has taken time out of racing to have two children over recent years and returned to racing success very quickly on both occasions; one of Lizzie’s most iconic wins must be her victory on the cobbles of Paris Roubaix Femmes where she made history by taking the very first very first edition of this unique sporting spectacle.

Ed Clancy OBE

Ed Clancy won three Olympic Gold Medals in the Team Pursuit as well as taking an amazing twelve World Championship medals for Team GB, making him the most successful team pursuit racer in history. Ed’s racing career with British Cycling started at the age of sixteen, taking his World Championship first gold medal at the age of twenty. Since his retirement Ed has continued to work with British Cycling as well as launching his own Clancy Briggs Academy for kids, encouraging them to play at cycling together as they acquire new skills and abilities.
