Modern Trail bike geometry. The Big Trail 500 has a slack enduro inspired 65.5° head angle, steep seat angle and a long reach. A short seat tube delivers a low standover height giving plenty of space to manoeuvre on the bike when the trail gets technical but still accommodates a long travel dropper post.
RockShox Recon Silver RL 140mm Fork and Maxxis Dissector 2.4 Tyres. 140mm of travel with adjustable spring rate and low speed compression gives the rider all the tunability the maximise grip from the aggressive tread of the 2.4 Maxxis Dissector tyre.
1 x 11 Shimano Deore drivetrain. The Big Trail 500 features wide range 11spd Shimano Deore Drivetrain. Delivering super dependable shifting with every click and gear ratios that will let you hammer the singletrack and breeze the climbs.
Shimano Deore Crankset. With plenty of stiffness, the Deore crankset provides great power transfer and a top mounted chain guide keeps everything in check when the trail gets rowdy.
11spd Shimano Deore Rear Derailleur. Utilizing the Shimano Shadow RD+ design, the rear derailleur delivers consistent and quiet shifting performance over rough terrain, whilst the low profile design avoids damage from rock debris.
Tektro HD-M275 2 piston hydraulic disc brakes. Rock-solid performance and predictable braking control to make the most of the Big Trail’s capability combined with easy adjustment and maintenance.
