Suspension
The Sythe 27 uses 150 mm of travel at both ends to give grip, comfort and control on rough terrain. The RockShox Psylo Gold fork provides support on steep and technical trails, while the Deluxe Select RT shock keeps the rear end stable and predictable. The suspension is tuned for lighter riders so it stays active and responsive.
Frame and Geometry
The 6061 T6 aluminium frame is strong, light and built for real off road riding. The geometry is long, low and stable to help young riders stay confident on steep trails and technical features. A geometry adjustment chip lets riders fine tune the handling as they progress.
Wheels and Tyres
27.5 in wheels give a good balance of rollover and agility for youth riders. Schwalbe Albert Trail Radial tyres use a super soft compound on the front and a soft compound on the rear for grip and control in mixed conditions. The frame is also ready for an MX setup with a 27.5 in front wheel and 26 in rear if you want a more playful feel.
Braking and Drivetrain
Tektro four piston hydraulic brakes with 180 mm rotors give strong and consistent stopping power. The Shimano Cues 1×10 drivetrain is simple, reliable and easy to use, with a wide range for climbing and descending.
Dropper Post
A TranzX dropper post with 120 mm drop helps young riders move freely on the bike. It allows quick saddle height changes for climbing and descending, improving control and confidence on technical trails.
Who It Is For
The Whyte Sythe 27 Youth suits riders around 14 and up who want a genuine high performance trail bike. It is ideal for singletrack, bike parks and technical terrain, giving young riders the control and capability they need to ride the same tracks and features as adults.
