What Is the Merida Lithos?

The Merida Lithos is a new long travel electric mountain bike platform built around a lightweight CF3 carbon frame, modern geometry and the latest Bosch drive systems. It is designed for steep UK trails, big mountain riding and riders who want a tough, fast and confidence‑inspiring e‑enduro bike.

Long Travel Carbon Chassis

All Lithos models share the same carbon frame with 170 mm front and 174 mm rear travel. The suspension layout is built for grip and stability on rough ground. The geometry uses a longer chainstay and higher stack to improve balance, control and climbing traction. A mullet wheel setup comes as standard, with the option to run full 29 inch wheels.

Bosch Performance Line CX Power

Lithos 6000 uses Bosch Performance Line CX and the Lithos 8000 and 10K use the Bosch CX R motor. These units deliver strong support on steep climbs and technical trails. All models come with a removable 800 Wh battery for long range riding. This gives the Lithos enough capacity for full days in the hills. Bosch CX and Bosch CX-R drive units are capable of 120nm of torque, so not issue with power on these bikes.

Three Build Levels

The range is split into three models:

Lithos 6000 – high value entry point with RockShox suspension, SRAM Eagle 70 Transmission and Reynolds wheels. Bosch CX drive unit.
Lithos 8000 – premium step up with ZEB Ultimate, Vivid Ultimate and GX Eagle AXS wireless shifting. Bosch CX-R drive unit.
Lithos 10K – flagship build with Fox Podium, Live Valve NEO coil shock, X0 Eagle AXS and DT Swiss carbon wheels. Bosch CX-R drive unit.

All three share the same frame, geometry and battery. The differences come from suspension, drivetrain and wheels.
