Introducing the all-new SCOTT Fastlane – a lightweight, high-performance electric road bike that redefines how fast and far a rider can go. Built to look, feel and ride like a traditional road bike, the Fastlane hides a powerful TQ drive system and battery seamlessly within its sleek carbon frame. It’s so discreet that most wouldn’t notice it’s electric at all – until the gradient rises and the extra power kicks in.
The Fastlane transforms steep climbs into rolling hills and delivers smooth, natural-feeling assistance up to 25km/h, allowing riders to enjoy longer, faster and more effortless road adventures. With premium carbon construction, aero detailing and class-leading integration, it’s the SCOTT electric road bike that blends classic style with cutting-edge e-performance.
Integration and Design
Every element of the SCOTT Fastlane has been carefully designed to deliver a true road bike experience. The battery is hidden in the downtube, and the TQ drive unit is tucked discreetly between the cranks, giving the frame a clean, aerodynamic silhouette. There are no bulky displays or oversized controls – just a neat bar-end LED interface showing battery and assistance mode.
The minimalist setup allows the rider to focus purely on the ride, keeping distractions low and style high. All controls for switching between modes are positioned conveniently within the shifters, blending perfectly into the cockpit for an authentic, streamlined road feel.

Sleek Integrated TQ Motor

Frame Design
Developed as a road bike first and an e-bike second, the Fastlane’s lightweight HMX carbon frame weighs only 865g, with a 353g carbon fork. Its stiffness, handling and road feel are every bit as precise as SCOTT’s pure performance bikes.
The frame is UDH compatible for future drivetrain flexibility, and its aero-optimised tube shapes reduce drag to extend battery life and improve efficiency. Paired with 34mm tyres, the Fastlane delivers comfort and control on varied road surfaces – encouraging riders to go further, faster, and explore more.
Drive Unit – TQ HPR40
At the heart of the SCOTT Fastlane is the TQ HPR40 motor, an ultra-compact and whisper-quiet system delivering up to 40Nm of torque and 200W of maximum power. The assistance feels natural and fluid, adapting intelligently to the rider’s effort. It’s the perfect balance between muscle and machine – offering just enough push to conquer climbs while maintaining that authentic road-bike sensation.
The HPR40’s advanced design virtually eliminates drag when disengaged, allowing the Fastlane to glide effortlessly at speed with or without assistance. Quiet, efficient, and incredibly smooth, it sets a new benchmark for lightweight electric road bikes.
Battery and Range
Concealed within the downtube is a 290Wh battery, providing plenty of energy for long, challenging rides. The combination of a low overall weight and aerodynamic frame helps conserve battery life, while the motor engages and disengages seamlessly as gradients change. Riders enjoy a truly natural transition between powered and unpowered pedalling – always fast, always smooth, always in control.
Assistance Modes
Three simple assistance levels – Eco, Mid and High – can be switched directly from the hood buttons without changing position. ANT+ connectivity allows pairing with a cycling computer to monitor power, range and ride data in real time.
Accessories and Compatibility
Integration is at the heart of the Fastlane range. Premium models feature the Syncros IC-R100-SL Carbon cockpit for a clutter-free front end, as well as the Syncros iS Drop Bar Tool 2 for quick roadside adjustments. The Fastlane is also compatible with Syncros frame bags and integrated lighting systems powered directly from the bike’s main battery – keeping every setup sleek and efficient for all-day road rides.
The 2026 SCOTT Fastlane Range
The 2026 SCOTT Fastlane collection includes three models – all built around the same lightweight HMX carbon frame, aero geometry and premium integration. Every model delivers the same discreet power, precision handling and road-ready performance that define the Fastlane name.

That was some DEMO! Thanks to everyone for rocking up in horrendous conditions, and all the brands, guides and store staff for making it happen – 162 of the world’s best mountain bikes, 12 brands, 16 guides and over 500 bike washes.
This year’s Big Demo Weekend was wet and wild. When Saturday morning rolled around we were geared up for some hostile Lake District weather and fully prepared for a challenging day ahead. Despite the relentless rain and wind we had over 100 keen demo riders heading out onto the trails of the Kentmere valley to test some of the world’s best mountain bikes, expertly guided by CycleActive.
We were in luck on Sunday as the rain disappeared and the winds eased for a clear day of riding. The trails were still pretty wet from the day before but that didn’t stop more demo riders turning up and taking on the challenging terrain.
