About the Karve Family
The Karve platform is built for riders who want the rush of fast descents, the stability to push harder and the power to ride more of the terrain they love. Whyte spent years refining geometry, suspension and frame layout to create two bikes that share the same confident ride feel but serve different types of gravity riding.
Both models use Whyte’s Quad‑Link 4 suspension kinematics, tuned for grip, support and control on rough ground. The Avinox M2S motor adds smooth, predictable power without changing the natural handling of the bike.
Karve – 160mm Aggressive Trail and Enduro
Karve is the lighter, mid‑travel option for riders who want a full‑power eMTB that still feels lively and responsive. With 160mm travel, it suits aggressive trail riding, technical enduro stages and big days out where efficiency and handling matter as much as outright descending. It delivers the balance, control and reliability riders expect from Whyte, with the added support of the Avinox system.
Karve EVO – 180mm Super Enduro and Gravity
Karve EVO is the long‑travel gravity machine. With 180mm travel, it is built for riders who want maximum descending performance, bike‑park strength and the ability to self‑shuttle the biggest terrain. It is the choice for gravity riders, big mountain days and anyone who wants the most capable descending platform in the range.
Power and Drive System
Both Karve and Karve EVO use the Avinox M2S motor with up to 1300W peak power. The system delivers strong support on climbs and instant torque when you need it. The power delivery is smooth and predictable, helping the bikes stay composed on technical climbs and rough descents.
Suspension and Travel
- Karve: 160mm front and rear travel
- Karve EVO: 180mm rear travel
Both use Whyte’s custom‑tuned Quad‑Link 4 suspension for grip, control and stability on demanding terrain.
Frame and Weather Protection
The frames are designed to handle harsh conditions with full UK weather sealing. This keeps the bikes running smoothly in mud, rain and winter grit. RSX models include factory‑fitted RideWrap for added protection.
Wheels and Tyres
Evo uses MX wheels with a 29in front and 27.5in rear for stability and agility and non-Evo is a full 29er. Schwalbe tyres give strong grip in loose and wet conditions. The setup is designed for confidence on steep, technical trails.
Who the Karve Range Is For
The Karve family suits riders who want a full‑power eMTB built for gravity riding, steep terrain and big days out.
- Karve suits aggressive trail and enduro riders who want a lively, mid‑travel platform.
